A truly memorable evening was shared by the 600 attendees at the screening of the film Muza at the prestigious Ranieri III Auditorium in Monaco. In the distinguished presence of the Secretary of State, H.E. Mme Yvette Lambin Berti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Isabella Berro Amadei, the Minister of Health, Christophe Robino, and the Ambassadors of Italy and Lithuania, the President of the Monaco Baltic States Association, Prof Franco Borruto, gave a brief yet profoundly moving introduction to the film and the extraordinary life of its Franco-Lithuanian protagonist.
The evening paid an emotional tribute to the creation and composition of the Lithuanian national anthem and its author, the revered physician and poet, Vinkas Kudirka. Following the solemn performance of both the Lithuanian and Monegasque anthems and the moving film screening, the pianist closed the evening with a masterful rendition of a piece by Liszt, which deeply touched the audience and earned her a well-deserved standing ovation.
