Our Story
The Monaco Baltic States Association “MBSA” was formed in 2018 as a non-profit
organization dedicated to promoting cultural exchange, international understanding and
friendships between Baltic countries – Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia and the Principality of
Monaco.
The collaboration started in 2016 when the professor of obstetrics and
gynecology Franco Borrutto invited a group of gynecologists from Baltic countries to
participate in educational program held in the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace,
which resulted in further exchange and participation in such events as World Congress of
Endocrinology in 2016 and World Congress of Gynaecology in 2018.
The 3rd Annual Monaco Energy Security Forum visited by the President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis and
Latvian Ambassador Imants Liegis brought the opportunity to Latvian residents in Monaco
discuss further projects of cooperation.
Our Mission
To promote Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) in Monaco, as well as internationally and to develop friendly, cultural, economic and financial relations between the Principality of Monaco and the Baltic States.
